About the event
Let’s enjoy a beautiful and gentle hike with Rocky sections and occasional incline to the historic Bowen house! We will be hiking the bone house via Camino de State Trail.
The trailhead is only accessible through a one-way dirt road, so we will meet up near the Camino de OST trailhead and carpool the last quarter mile to the small parking lot. We’ll meet at 7 AM and take a few cars at 7:10 to the dozen spots at the trailhead. Introductions will start at 7:15 and we will start Hiking at 7:30.
Please note the earlier start time! All social hikes will start at 7:30 in May, with intro starting at 7:15
please bring water and sunscreen, hiking poles may be helpful with some rocky and Sandy parts. The weather forecast right now calls for low 65° at the start and low 70° by the time we finish, really…
