Let’s enjoy a double group adventure hike on the east side at beautiful Milagrosa Canyon! We will be teaming up with Larry Blake and the Tucson Hiking Meetup Group to and hiking parts of the Arizona Trail and Milagrosa Canyon

About the event
“This hike combines a short section of the Arizona Trail with the spectacular Milagrosa Canyon. We will park cars at the endpoint ( 4996 N Avenida de Suzenu ) , then drive to Molino Basin Campground for the start of our hike. Parking is free at both locations.
The hike starts with a mile of switchbacks, gaining about 500 feet. Once we achieve the ridge, we will mostly descend, eventually dropping into Saguaro-friendly elevations. We will see very few other people for most of the hike.
Total distance is about 8 miles. The final mile is on a road through a private neighborhood (hikers welcome, but it is gated).
